Creating fantastic food isn't enough - you need to shout about the services that you can offer your customers...
Green Fig Catering Company from Polegate, Eastbourne are local gourmet caterers who work all around East Sussex, from Hastings through to Brighton and as far north as Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
They cater for many weddings, parties, funerals and also charity events, working with clients who would like fine dining and just 10 special guests, to charity events and balls, having 350 guests.
They have been spending the last few years building their business and their excellent reputation and it has been our pleasure to be part of their success.
Like a lot of our clients, Green Fig had a website but it didn’t get many visitors and it really wasn’t marketed very well. They were working with Tim Rylatt a local business coach, who is a good friend and he encouraged them to speak to us about their website.
What they really wanted, was for their website to generate some enquiries, just a few to help them start building their business. We explained that we would need to improve the website so that it was more visibly appealing and we agreed to redesign the website and start marketing it.
Working with Green Fig Catering Company, we have advised and added new pages for services they offer, expanding their website and growing it for the keywords they really want to be found for.
Regular meetings mean that we stay in touch with exactly what they want to focus on the most and we also sometimes get to taste the wonderful food!
I have been more than satisfied with the web and social media marketing provided by Jude and the team at Sokada.
Having no experience (or interest) in the more technical side of web marketing it is an area that made sense to outsource, freeing up time to concentrate on some of the many other aspects of running a very busy catering firm.
Our website consistently ranks highly under many different search terms and I am continually advised as to what we can do to keep it being seen. If we ask Jude to focus on marketing a particular area of our business we invariably see the results immediately in terms of increased enquiries for that particular service.
At present our website is proving to be the only form of marketing that we need, so it is essential that our website is found quickly by potential customers, and that they are directed to exactly what they have searched for.
I can whole-heartedly recommend the marketing services I have received thus far and have no intention of changing what is working so effectively for us and making our business grow at a manageable rate.
