About the client
At Dad’s Table was founded by Leith’s trained chef Adam Shaw. Adam Specialises in fun and healthy dishes that are suitable for everyone, from pregnant couples to toddlers and newly weaned babies. He also works with many well-known brands including Sainsbury’s, Activia Yoghurt and Joules.
Adam has a sizeable Instagram following, where he shares his recipes and tips regularly with his followers. However, until recently his website was hungry for some TLC. It was not regularly updated, and due to the structure of the website, it was only possible to display a few recipes at one time.
Adam approached us a while ago and asked us to create a brand new website where he could not only showcase his terrific recipes but also publicise his debut book ‘How to Grow your Family‘.
Bespoke Features
The main part of the website are the recipes and these would need to be clearly displayed and easy to find. It was also necessary to have the ability to filter and search for recipes based on different dietary and food types.
We therefore sat down with Adam to make sure that we were making this section of the website as clear and easy to use as possible.
The Final Result
The end result is a mouthwatering combination of delicious images of food, and striking bold colours. We really love the look of this website and we think it is a perfect way to publicise some of the fantastic recipes that Adam has created. The recipes section of the website contains a search and filter option which makes it simple for users to find the recipes they’re after.

The individual recipes pages are also very striking; making it extremely clear and easy to follow. The At Dad’s Table Instagram has an incredibly good selection of images and Reels, so ensuring that the website made the most of these fantastic images was really important. Working on this site definitely made us all hungry!
