Introducing you to the newest member of the Sokada team…
We are pleased to introduce Damien – the newest member of the Sokada team. He has joined us as Business Development Manager. He has loads of great experience with similar projects we work on and is really enthusiastic about pushing Sokada into the next phase of it’s development. Working alongside Julian, he will be dealing with planning and project development with a bit of sales thrown into the mix. You will also start to see a few more blogs now as he has lots to talk about!
Here is a bit about Damien:
Since I graduated from University of Brighton in 2006 I have worked in a number of different businesses from large multi-nationals to start-ups.
I have always enjoyed problem-solving and helping people to understand what the issues are with their business and how these can be overcome, often using technology to automate tasks.
Early on in my career I did an internship at Intel Corp as a business analyst and then joined BT on their graduate scheme working in sales & marketing for business.
Since then I have chosen to mainly work with smaller local businesses and really enjoy bringing some of the big business know-how to SME’s.
Being with friends and family, travelling, eating, cooking, the sound of wind through the trees, learning new things, helping people and generally being useful.
Traffic wardens, coffee and IVR
I bring passion and enthusiasm for changing things to the table with a little bit of knowledge and experience about how this can be done.
I am aiming to help Sokada in the next phase of their business growth by assisting with projects and helping with the development and implementation of the business strategy in order to engage meaningfully with our clients to help them change their lives.
I came to know about Sokada’s work through one of their clients who told me what an incredible impact they had had on their business. The work they were doing sounded fantastic and something that I wanted to be part of, so I approached them to offer my assistance.
It is great to be part of the Sokada team. I have known Julian for 15 years through rugby and his enthusiasm for everything he does is infectious. Having met Jude only recently I can see how hard-working and knowledgeable she is and I am looking forward to helping them both on their mission to help local businesses.
